The Cloud Services team are turning off support for TLS 1.0 and 1.1 on 31/07/2020 in CloudStor S3 gateways. TLS 1.0 and 1.1 have reached their end of life on 31/03/2020 and are no longer considered secure.

Please ensure your s3 client supports TLS 1.2 or TLS 1.3. If you aren't sure if your client supports the latest versions of TLS, please consult the vendor documentation, or email CloudStor support at support@aarnet.edu.au.

Note this advice applies to S3 gateways only.

Monitoring - A fix has been implemented and we are monitoring the result. Our testing confirm that PSTN dial-in from Zoom's Australian telephone numbers can join On-prem Zoom meetings. If you still experience issues, please report to support@aarnet.edu.au.

The workaround in the meantime is to join Zoom meetings using alternative join methods like the native Zoom client/app.

Scheduled - CloudStor will be undergoing maintenance at 8pm AEST on Thursday, July 2, to update front end server configuration. This maintenance will not affect CloudStor operations, but users who are logged in during the maintenance may need to re-login once during the maintenance period. This hazard extends to SWAN, FileSender and OnlyOffice functions. This does not apply to S3 services.
